PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University Men's Tennis team opened their spring season with a 6-1 loss to Lehigh this afternoon, February 8, 2003.
Yhonny Murray was the only Owl able to pull out a win 6-2, 6-3 over Randall Smalley in the No. 2 singles position. Tyler Wynne lost 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 1 singles spot while Gurav Kumar lost a close bout 6-4, 7-5 in the No. 3 spot. Jonathon Sy lost 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 4 singles spot while Elad Ziu lost at No. 5.
Next up for the Owls is a road trip to Dayton, Ohio where they will take on the Flyers in an Atlantic 10 match-up on February 15, 2003.
