WEST POINT, NY-The Temple men's gymnastics team placed second at the 12th Annual West Point Gymnastics Open at Christl Arena on Friday evening January 10.
The Owls finished with a team score of 207.300 just over a point behind Penn State, who have won the team title for the sixth year in a row compiling a score of 208.40. Host Army placed third (203.550).
Temple placed first in the floor (35.100) and pommel horse (35.200) and captured three third pace finishes on the vault (35.850), the rings (34.800) and the Parallel Bars (33.150). The Owls also finished fourth on the horizontal bars (33.200).
Temple (3-1) next will host James Madison on Sunday, January 26 at 1p.m. in McGonigle Hall,
