PHILADELPHIA - Coach John Chaney's undefeated Temple University basketball team is scheduled to meet Indiana in the semifinal round of the TiVo Preseason National Invitation Tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Tip-off for the Owls-Hoosiers game time has been set for 7:00 p.m. (EST) and the contest will be televised live nationally by ESPN. Game 2 of Wednesday night's doubleheader at the Garden will feature Duke and Texas at approximately 9:30 p.m. (EST) and televised live nationally on ESPN2. The winners will meet Friday (Nov. 24) in a 9:00 p.m. start for ESPN at the same venue, following a third-place game scheduled for 6:00 p.m. with no television scheduled. Temple (3-0), advanced to the PNIT Final Four with wins over Delaware (56-49 on Nov. 13) and New Mexico (61-49 on Nov. 15). Indiana, Duke and Texas advanced to the competition with respective quarterfinal-round wins over South Alabama, Villanova and California.
