Fort Worth, Texas - Senior Story Tweedie-Yates and sophomore Ana Cetnik were named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-America team, it was announced today. Tweedie-Yates was honored in singles and doubles, while Cetnik earned doubles accolades. The final ITA individual rankings were also announced and three Horned Frogs were among those listed.

In singles, Tweedie-Yates was 11th in the final singles rankings, which is the highest ranking to end a season in TCU history. The Redmond, Wash., native advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Championship and finished with a 37-5 overall record. Rene Simpson held the previous highest ranking, as she finished 12th in 1988.

Junior Helena Besovic also was among the singles rankings as she was the 38th best player in the nation. The Sarajevo, Bosnia, native finished her inaugural season in Purple and White with a 36-10 overall record, which was second best on the team.

Tweedie-Yates and Cetnik jumped to 15th in the final doubles ranking after they made a run to the semifinals at the NCAA Doubles Championship last week. The pair concluded the season with a 22-4 overall mark. The ranking is the second highest in school history by a doubles pair as Simpson and Tory Plunkett came in at 9th in 1988.
