Fort Worth, Texas - Seniors Story Tweedie-Yates and Paige Brown were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI Women's At-Large Team that was selected by the CoSIDA. Tweedie-Yates was one of 12 members selected to the first team, while Brown was one of eight to be named to the second team.

Tweedie-Yates was honored after she posted a 4.0 grade point average in psychology. This season the senior from Redmond, Wash., has posted a 37-4 overall record and she climbed as high as 10th in the ITA rankings. At the NCAA Singles Championship this week, Tweedie-Yates became the first TCU player to advance to the event's quarterfinals.

Brown has maintained a 3.91 grade point average on a 4.0 scale while studying early childhood education. On the courts, the Amarillo, Texas, native posted a 30-8 overall record this season in doubles, while playing with freshman Andrea Morgado and senior Karla Mancinas. In dual matches, Mancinas and Brown posted a 14-1 record and closed out their careers with a six-match winning streak.

TCU women's golfer Camillia Blackerby joined Tweedie-Yates on the first team. Blackerby has a 3.91 GPA in mechanical engineering.
