FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU women's tennis head coach Jefferson Hammond announced the signing of Idunn Hertzberg to a National Letter of Intent on Monday. Hertzberg becomes the second commit to the Horned Frogs for the 2007-08 season.

"Idunn has quite an impressive resumé," said Hammond. "It speaks for itself. We are very excited about her coming to TCU and look forward to her being a Horned Frog."

Hertzberg, a native of Oslo, Norway, earned a career high WTA ranking of No. 944, and an ITF Juniors career combined ranking of No. 229. Hertzberg has been a member of the 2006 and 2007 Norwegian Federation Cup team, which competed in the World Group in Turkey in 2005 and Africa in 2006.

Hertzberg's career highlights include being named the 2006 Norwegian Open champion, the 2006 singles finalist at the ITF Junior Oslo Indoor event and the 2005 champion of the ITF Junior Oslo Outdoor event.
