    FORT WORTH, TEXAS (September 5) -- TCU's Women's Soccer team won its third game of the season on Tuesday, September 5, when they defeated the Ladies of Centenary 2-1. The Frogs dominated most of the match with their physical play and aggressive offense.

    All of the scoring occurred in the first half of play, the first of which came when junior forward Crystal Pratz received a pass from junior midfielder Tiffany Goetz and nailed the ball in the net for her first goal of the season. Sophomore forward Sherry Dick scored the next goal of the game and her third for the year. Dick headed the ball in on a corner kick taken by Tiffany Goetz. The lone Centenary goal was scored with two and a half minutes left in the half. The unassisted goal was scored by freshman midfielder Sarah Brown.

    TCU ended the game outshooting the Ladies 27-5. TCU forward Sherry Dick took 11 of the Frogs shots and finished the game with five total shots on goal. TCU freshman goalkeeper Shannon Wagner earned her third victory of the season, while Centenary goalkeeper Heather Lindsey fell to 2-2 on the year.

    TCU's next match will be on the road against Arkansas on Saturday, September ninth. Game time is set for 1 p.m. The Frogs will return home on Friday, September 15, to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide at 4 p.m.
