AUSTIN, Texas -- The TCU women's golf team is in a three-way tie for second, eight strokes behind leader Texas, after Saturday's second round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational.

The Horned Frogs shot a 21-over-par 309 Saturday and are even with Arkansas and Purdue heading into Sunday's final round.

TCU's Catherine Matranga shot her second-straight round of 75 and is at 6-over 150, tied for seventh individually. Fellow Frog senior Camille Blackerby, after an opening-round 74, carded a 78 Saturday and is a deadlock for 12th.

Kelley Louth of Texas is the individual leader by seven strokes after recording a 4-under-par 140 through 36 holes.

TCU freshman Valentine Derrey, the reigning Mountain West Conference Golfer of the Month, shot a second-round 75 and is tied for 18th.
