TCU Women's Golf to Compete in 2002 TRW Regional Challenge

2002 TRW Regional Challenge
Course/Format: The Palos Verdes Golf Club plays to a par-71 layout of 5,912 yards. Eighteen holes will be played each of the three days with the top four scores of each team counting towards the team total.
Tournament Field: The 18-team field features: Arizona, Arizona State, Florida, Georgia, Michigan State, New Mexico State, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, Purdue, San Jose State, Southern California, Stanford, Texas, TCU, Tulsa, UCLA, Wake Forest.
Head Coach: Angie Ravaioli-Larkin,a two-time conference coach of the year, is in her eighth season at TCU. Ravaioli-Larkin has led the women to one WAC Championship and three appearances in the NCAA Championships. The TCU women have advanced to the NCAA Regionals in each of the last six seasons. Ravaioli-Larkin is assisted by Stefanie Reynolds.
Notes: Last fall, the women finished 7th (311-303-298=912) at the TRW Regional Challenge, 28 shots behind tournament champion Arizona (293-289-302=884)... The Frogs are ranked 25th in the latest Golfweek top-25 poll.
