A visit with Elin Emanuelsson
Jan. 30, 2006 FORT WORTH, Texas -- Included below is an inside look at TCU women's golfer Elin Emanuelsson. A junior from Nacka, Sweden, Emanuelsson fired a first-round 69 as part of a 221 total (+5) to place seventh individually as TCU posted a 21-stroke victory in October at Kansas State's Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational. Emanuelsson also had the Frogs' second-best score (78-71-78=227) at New Mexico's Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational. She tied for 15th individually with a 72-78-76=226 at the Lady Paladin Invitational. As a sophomore in 2004-05, she dropped her stroke average by nearly three shots from her freshman year. She recorded two Top 20 finishes. What three people would complete your perfect golf foursome? What three words would people most likely use to describe you?
