2007-08 OUTLOOK (TRANSFER): Eboni Mangum, one of five Lady Frog newcomers, will be forced to sit out her first season at TCU due to NCAA transfer rules... "Eboni is super-quick off the dribble, can get to the rim and can play in an up-tempo offense," said Head Coach Jeff Mittie. "She can also shoot the three, so we feel she can make an impact for us next season."
2006-07 (SOPHOMORE AT LOUISIANA TECH): Mangum started 28 of 30 games for the Techsters while helping the squad to a share of the Western Athletic Conference regular-season crown... ranked third on the team averaging 8.6 points per game while pacing the squad with 96 assists... twice led the team in single-game scoring, and her 16 games as the leading assister topped all players on the squad... dished out a career-high nine assists on Nov. 21 to help Tech defeat Iowa on Nov. 21.. scored a season-high 16 points during a 64-61 loss to Kansas State on Dec. 5.
2005-06 (FRESHMAN): Mangum earned a spot on the WAC All-Freshman team after playing in 28 games with three starts... named co-Freshman of the Year in the state of Louisiana by the state's sportswriter's association... posted averages of 7.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game... averaged 10.0 points per game prior to injuring her knee in early February... scored in double-figures nine times, including a career-high 17-point effort against Grambling State Dec. 10... recorded career bests of eight boards Jan. 14 against Fresno State and eight assists Nov. 22 versus Iowa.. ranked No. 8 in program history for a freshman with both 13 3-pointers and 605 minutes played.
HIGH SCHOOL: Mangum was a four-year letterwinner while playing guard for coach Doug Lechtenberger at John Foster Dulles High School in Sugarland, Texas... ranked as the No. 18 high school senior in the country by All-Star Girl's Report in 2005... named a finalst for the McDonald's All-American Team that season... collected several other accolades, including 2005 All-America honors from the WBCA... named a two-time District 20-5A Most Valuable Player in addition to her three first-team all-state appearances... helped Dulles post a 124-23 record over her four seasons... scored 2,502 points (17.0 per game average) and hit 221 3-pointers during her career... led the Vikings to a 34-2 mark and regional semifinals appearance of the 2005 state tournament as a senior, when she averaged 20.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 3.8 assists per game... collected averages of 19.6 points, 4.4 boards, 4.8 steals and 3.8 assists during her junior season... earned District Defensive Player of the Year honors as a sophomore... second-team all-state as a freshman... selected as adidas Top Ten Camp Upperclass All-Star in the summer of 2004, one year after earning adidas Underclass All-Star accolades... received AAU 16-and-Under All-America honors the summer of 2003.
