FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 66 TCU men's tennis team was awarded a No. 2 seed in the upcoming 2007 MWC Championship, and will face the Falcons of Air Force in the opening round on April 26 at 4 p.m. CT in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The Horned Frogs (9-11, 5-1) earned a No. 2 seed after winning five of the six regular season conference matches, including an upset of No. 46 New Mexico last Sunday. TCU opened last weekend's action against Air Force, where the Frogs triumphed by a score of 7-0.

The winner of the TCU-Air Force match will move on to the semifinals on April 27 at 3 p.m. CT to face the winner of the UNLV-Utah contest.

For the second consecutive year, the Frogs will face Air Force in the opening round as the tournament's No. 2 seed. Last season, TCU knocked off San Diego State, 4-1, to clinch the MWC Championship in its inaugural season in the conference.
