FORT WORTH, Texas - The 33rd-ranked TCU men's tennis team heads to Salt Lake City, Utah, on Friday to close out the regular season with a trio of matches. The Frogs (12-8 overall, 3-0 Mountain West Conference) can come away with the conference regular-season championship with wins in their final three matches.

The Frogs are coming off a dominant performance in Albuquerque, N.M., last weekend in their Mountain West Conference debut. TCU downed New Mexico 5-2 on April 7, followed by a 6-1 victory over BYU on April 8 before closing out the weekend with a 6-1 triumph over Air Force on April 9. With the wins, the Frogs moved into a first-place tie with defending conference champion and 59th-ranked San Diego State.

TCU opens the three-day affair with a 1 p.m. (CST) showdown with No. 56 Utah. The Utes (13-7 overall, 1-2 MWC) are in search of their first win versus the Horned Frogs as the Purple and White hold a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series.

No. 58 UNLV (13-5 overall, 2-1 MWC) fell to San Diego State, 5-2, on April 2. The Frogs and Runnin' Rebels will meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. (CST). TCU is 3-0 all-time against UNLV with the last win coming in a 4-0 decision on March 20, 2001.

San Diego State awaits the Frogs on Sunday at 10 a.m. (CST) in what could be a battle for the regular-season crown and a No. 1 seed in the Mountain West Conference Championships which are slated to take place in San Diego beginning on April 26. The Aztecs have won five of their last six matches and have not lost a conference contest since dropping a 4-3 decision to New Mexico in the MWC Championship match on May 1, 2004.
