Horned Frog Men's Tennis Falls to Duke, 4-0

DURHAM, N.C. -- The 25th-ranked TCU men's tennis team (9-7) suffered its fifth loss to a top 25 team this season on Saturday afternoon, falling to the No. 13 Duke Blue Devils (11-9) 4-0 at the Ambler Tennis Stadium in Durham, N.C. The Frogs dropped the doubles point to begin the match, falling at the one and two spots. TCU freshman Jacob Martin and junior Toni Gordon managed an 8-6 win at three over Alex Bose and Jason Zimmerman. The Blue Devils gained a 2-0 advantage when No. 11 Phillip King picked up a 6-3, 6-1 victory over 86th-ranked freshman Fabrizio Sestini at one singles. The loss dropped Sestini to 10-10 on the year. The Horned Frogs fell behind 3-0 when Martin dropped his match with Yorke Allen 6-2, 6-4 at the five slot. Duke claimed the victory when No. 58 Michael Yani defeated 42nd-ranked Gordon at two singles by a 6-3, 6-4 score. TCU will head to Richmond, Virginia for its next match with 16th-ranked Virginia Commonwealth on Sunday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. (CT). Singles
