FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU head coach Neil Dougherty has announced the signing of Michael Scott, a 6-foot, 175-pound guard from Philadelphia.

He graduated from the Franklin Learning Center, where he averaged 15 points per contest, led his team to the state semifinals and played in the Philly USA All-City Classic in 2003.

Scott is the fourth player to ink with the Horned Frogs for the 2007-08 season, joining John Ortiz, Henry Salter and Brandon Stores.

Ortiz, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward, comes from Colby (Kan.) Community College, where he averaged 8.3 points and 8.6 rebounds, while blocking a team-high 41 shots. A 6-foot-9, 210-pound forward, Stores helped College of Southern Idaho to a 30-7 overall record while averaging 13.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots.
