FORT WORTH - Three TCU baseball players have been selected in the 2001 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. Junior shortstop Erick Macha was drafted in the 12th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Senior pitcher Chris Bradshaw was selected in the 14th round by the Texas Rangers and senior pitcher Chad Durham was drafted in the 25th round by the Houston Astros.

Macha, a second-team All-WAC honoree, led the 2001 Frogs with a .350 average, 85 hits and 18 steals. Bradshaw posted an 8-5 win-loss mark with a 4.10 earned run average. A first-team All-WAC selection, Bradshaw recorded a 17-17 record in four seasons at TCU. Durham ended the year with a 2-3 record and a 7.29 ERA. He compiled a record of 6-8 in his four seasons at TCU.
