THIS WEEK
The Frogs will send diver Kelly McCain to the NCAA Championships this week in Minneapolis, Minn. The competition will be held at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center Thursday through Saturday. The 1-meter event will take place on Thursday, while the 3-meter is on Friday. The trials start at 1:30 p.m. each day followed by the finals at 7 p.m.

MCCAIN MAKES HISTORY
With his performance at the NCAA Sectional D Diving Meet on Mar. 11-13, junior Kelly McCain became the first male diver in TCU history to qualify for the NCAA Diving Championships. Additionally, the Corpus Christi, Texas, native is only the third men's student-athlete to qualify. The previous two qualifiers for the Frogs were Walter Soza in 1994 and most recently Jason Flint in 1997. Both swimmers were named all-Americans in their respect events.

THE DIVING RECORD BOOKS
Kelly McCain broke two of his previous school diving records this season. In addition, he has also posted career-best marks in the 3-meter competition to move into the top-5 in the event. Here is a look at where McCain's marks stand in TCU history.

CHESTER RETURNS TO NCAA'S
Diving coach Wayne Chester returns to the NCAA Championships for the first time in the coaching ranks this week in Minneapolis. As a competitor, Chester was a three time all-American during his collegiate days at the University of Alabama. In the 1979 season, he was the NCAA champion in the 1-meter springboard event.
