Women's Golf Team Finishes 14th at NSU Women's Golf Classic

With a seven-stroke improvement in Tuesday's final round, the Texas A&M-Commerce women's golf team finished 14th out of 21 teams, shooting a two-day total of 679 (343-336) at the NSU Women's Golf Classic.

In only her second collegiate tournament, freshman Heather Pantalion shot a final round 78 for a two-day total of 158 (80-78) to tie for 15th place overall. The 78 in the final round is the best round for the freshman from Pflugerville. Senior Adi Attaway was a stroke behind her freshman teammate with at two-day total of 159 (80-79) and tied for 20th place overall for the 13th top-20 finish in her career.

Drury University won the team title on the second playoff hole with a 618 (308-310), edging out host Northeastern State. Jessica Harbin of St. Mary's (Texas) took medalist honors with a one-under par total 143 (70-73).

The Lions' Jamie Gililland shot a 177 (89-88) to tie for 71st, Ali Tanner recorded a 185 (94-91) to share 84th-place honors and Amy Landrum posted a 196 (98-98) to tie for 93rd place.
