You are the guy who'll decide where to go."-Dr. Seuss 22 individuals with ties to the Texas A&M University-Commerce athletic department will participate on Saturday in commencement exercises. Among the 22 are Judy Allen and Summer Spurlock in the athletic administration office. Allen will be receiving her bachelor's degree in health and Spurlock will be receiving her master's in finance. Also among the 22 are student assistant basketball coaches Laytwan Slaughter and Raymond Yeater, both will be earning their bachelor's degree. In addition, current student-athletes Tarika Campbell of women's basketball and Jamin Savell of football will be earning their bachelor's degrees. Former basketball players Nick Goellner and Holly Coker-Mulligan will be earning their master's degrees. Two graduations will be held on Aug. 11 in the University Auditorium, second floor of the Ferguson Social Sciences Building. Undergraduates will receive diplomas at 10 a.m., and master's and doctoral students will graduate in ceremonies at 2 p.m. Eight of the 22 are football players, five with ties to women's basketball, track and field/cross country is represented with three graduates, two from men's basketball and athletic administration and one each from athletic training, men's golf and soccer.
