Soccer
1. When did you start playing soccer?
Gordon - 3rd grade, I played city-league soccer in Kerville, TX.
2. What do you love about soccer?
Gordon - I love my team. They're my best friends and they're all really awesome people and it's kind of like a support group for me and it's fun.
3. Is there anything you hate about soccer?
Gordon - I hate getting hurt, I've been hurt a lot.
4. Who or what had the most influence on your decision to play soccer?
Gordon - When I was little, I started playing because my sister had played and I saw her doing it so then I wanted to do it too. I started when I was 8 and never stopped.
5. What has been your greatest memory of playing collegiate soccer?
Gordon - When we beat Trinity last year.
6. How do you prepare for a big game?
Gordon - I like to eat a big meal and sometimes I listen to music.
7. What would you say is your strongest asset to the team?
Gordon - Well, I'm a captain because of my leadership and my attitude, not necessarily because I'm the best player on the team. I tend to be positive and I think a lot of the younger people on the team look up to me for that.
8. What do you want to get out of your last year playing soccer at Southwestern?
Gordon - I just want to be able to play since I've been hurt so much and haven't been able to as much. This year, I just wanted to be able to play.
9. What would you say your biggest weakness is?
Gordon - I still have mental issues about getting hurt so I have some hesitation and fear sometimes in my game.
10. How would you describe playing under Coach Flatau?
Gordon - It's been a good experience; he is so friendly and personable. He's part of the reason I came here to play soccer. He's somebody who's easy to talk to and has made me feel good about myself as a leader.

1. What was the first car you ever had?
Gordon - A 2000 Nissan Pathfinder. It was blue and had a grill guard, and I had it forever.

Gordon - 5th or 6th grade probably.

Gordon - The Prestige

Gordon - Everyone Worth Knowing By Lauren Weisberger

Gordon - Chipotle
6. What was the last good deed you've done?
Gordon - On a trip one weekend, one of my teammates was having some leg pain so I sat with her and talked with her until the pain went away.

Gordon - A Collie named Cinnamon

Gordon - Chipotle
9. What was the last vacation you went on?
Gordon - This Summer my family went to Germany to be there during the World Cup. It was very interesting.
10. What was the last dream you had?
Gordon - I had a bad dream about the LSAT, that I got a bad grade on it.

3. Best game you ever played?
Gordon - This year against Schreiner because I scored a goal which was my first goal ever in college and I also had an assist.
4. Worst game you ever played?
Gordon - My freshman year at DePauw because I was playing defense and I had to mark a girl and she was so, so fast. I couldn't keep up with her so the coach pulled me out. It was just a horrible feeling not to be able to catch her.
5. Best sport?
Gordon - Soccer, but I also really like baseball.
6. Worst sport?
Gordon - I'm not a big fan of pro-football.

Gordon - Rock

Gordon - Country

If you could...?
1. Could be anything you wanted to be, talent and money aside, what would you be?
Gordon - A writer.
2. Weren't playing soccer, what do you think you would be doing?
Gordon - I'd probably be more involved in my sorority and I might have a job.
3. Could play soccer with any famous athlete, who would it be?
Gordon - Clint Dempsey because he's from Texas and he plays for the U.S.
4. Could meet any famous person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Gordon - John F. Kennedy
5. Could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Gordon - I don't think I'll ever get tired of Since You've Been Gone, by Kelly Clarkson. I've been listening to it so much, ever since it came out.
