First-year Amy Douglas (Missouri City, TX/Hightower HS) was named to the d3kicks.com Team of the Week as well as earning recognition as the SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and the Southwestern University Student-Athlete of the Week for games played during the week of Sept. 24 through Sept. 30.

Douglas scored six goals and had one assist for the Pirates, totaling 13 points in three games this week, helping the team to a 3-0 record.

On Tuesday, the first-year forward had one goal and one assist as SU defeated Texas Lutheran 4-3. Then, on Friday, she scored a pair of goals including the game-winner. She then bettered that mark with a hat trick on Sunday in a 5-0 victory over Schreiner University. She scored the game-winner in that game as well.

Douglas has now scored at least one goal in five-straight games and leads the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with nine total goals
