Head coach Steve Brandt had this to say about the meet, "It was a great return for racing for our team. I was really excited by the way we came out and weren't intimidated. Our women got into the meet and really raced well. We're going into a big training block now, so we'll see where we are in a few weeks when we start racing again."

The Pirate men and women will take to the water again on Saturday (Nov. 3) for a dual meet at University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX at 11:30 a.m
