Alabama A&M, champions of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), will face St. Louis University, champions of the Atlantic 10 Conference and winners of 20 straight matches, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday in Lexington, Ky.
The Billikens are the #13 seed in the national tournament and are 28-4 on the season. Alabama A&M (14-16) has won 10 of its last 12 matches and is making its eighth trip in nine seasons to the NCAA Tournament. Michigan and Kentucky will meet in the region's other first round match.
Game times are set for 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. (CT) for Thursday, but yet to be determined is which start time will feature which match. Friday's regional final will be played at 6:00 p.m. (CT).
