Credit Lead 2004 Pre-Season Volleyball Team;
Alabama A&M and Grambling State Predicted to Finish First

Alabama A&M’s Phylis Hetie was selected as the 2004 SWAC Volleyball Pre-Season Player of
the Year. The 5-10, Outside Hitter from Burkino- Faso, West Africa received 1st Team All-
SWAC and 1st Team All-Tournament honors from the 2003 season. The Lady Bulldogs are
predicted to finish first place in the SWAC Eastern Division.
Grambling State’s Krystal Credit (5-8, SR, Los Angeles, CA) was selected as First Team
Defensive Specialist. Credit was the 2003 All-SWAC Defensive Specialist of the Year and was
selected as the Defensive Specialist to the 2003 SWAC Volleyball All- Tournament Team. The
Lady Tigers are predicted to finish first in the SWAC Western Division.
The 2004 SWAC preseason Volleyball team is chosen by volleyball coaches and sports
information directors of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
