Player of the Week
Kimberly Fernandez- (Sr., 5-7, C, San Antonio, TX)-Prairie View A&M
Fernandez led the Lady Panthers to an undefeated 6-0 week with a .684 batting average, nine RBIs, 13 hits (home run, three doubles, and a triple), drew four walks and stole two bases. She also finished with a .730 on-base percentage and a 1.105 slugging percentage in 19 at bats.

Pitcher of the Week
Jalana Brown- (Jr., P, 5-9, Lithonia, GA)- Mississippi Valley State
In a three game series against Alabama State , Brown picked up two wins and a save. She pitched a total of 14 innings, giving up only 7 hits and two earned runs, while recording 17 strikeouts to 3 walks. She had an ERA of 1.29

Notable Pitching Performances:

- Jamila Taylor( P, R/R, Jr., 5-8, Hanford, CA) of Southern recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts in a 7-2 win against UAPB (4/1).

- Debra Borcherding- (P/2B, 5-6, Fr., Ames, IA) of Alabama A&M was 3-0 in pitching for the week (21 innings pitched), with 18 strikeouts,5 ER, and an ERA of 2.14.
