Co-Players of the Week
Tyeah Patterson – Alabama State (5-9, OF/DH, Jr., Pascagoula, MS)
In four games, Patterson had only seven official at-bats, but had five hits(.714). She hit two home runs, had six runs batted in, and a slugging percentage of 1.571. She scored nine runs and had an on-base percentage of .875.

Jamye Roberts- Southern (5-6, So., P/SS,R/R, Stone Mountain , GA)
Roberts was 9-for-14 (.643) with 2 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs and 8 rbi’s. Roberts hit home runs against Mississippi Valley State, and the Lady Jaguars 4-0 in conference play against Grambling State, and 1-1 against the Devilettes of Mississippi Valley State.

Pitcher of the Week
Tasha Sloan- Alabama A&M (5-5, So., RHP, Scottsdale, AZ)
Sloan posted a 3-1 record for the week with a 1.52 ERA. She pitched four complete games, allowing just five earned runs in 23 innings. Sloan recorded 37 strikeouts while allowing just 10 hits as the Lady Bulldogs were 4-0 over the Lady Tigers of Jackson State and 1-1 against Troy State.

Players:
• Addie Meyers-Alabama A&M (5-9, Jr., 1B, Auburn, CA)
  Meyers batted .588 for the week in six games, delivering 10 hits and 17 at bats. She had four double, drove in nine runs and scored six runs. She currently leads her team in doubles (8) and RBI (21).
• Nakelya Moragne- Mississippi Valley State (So., 5-6, CF, Jacksonville, AR)
  In two games, Moragne had 3 hits on 8 at bats (.375). She also had 5 rbi’s and scored three runs. She had a grand slam in the Devilettes victory over SU (4/19a), and recorded a triple in a 5-4 loss to the Jaguars (4/19b).
• Lee Ellen King- Prairie View A&M- (DH, 5-10, Sr., Crosby, TX)
  King batted. 583 with a .900 slugging percentage in addition to recording seven hits, one double, one home run, 5 rbi’s , and scoring four runs as the Lady Panthers were 3-1 against conference rivals Texas Southern.
• Michelle Obront- Alcorn State- (Fr., OF, Ashawa, Ontario)
  Obront batted 5-of-11 (.455) with 2 rbi as the Lady Braves were 0-5 for the week.
• Danielle Ross- Jackson State- (3B, 5-7, Jr., Silver Creek, MI)
  Ross went 4-for-10 on the week with seven rbi’s and a homerun as the Lady Tigers were 0-4 against Alabama State.
  Pitchers:
• Patricia Del Real- Alabama State (P, Sr., 5-8, Pylmar, CA)
  Del Real pitched 19 innings, compiling three complete game wins and pitched a nohitter against Alcorn State. She allowed only 16 hits and one earned run (0.47 ERA). She walked three players and struck out 11.
• Nicole Imbert- Mississippi Valley State (RHP, Fr., 5-11, Stone Mountain, GA)
  Imbert struck out seven batters, and allowed seven runs in seven innings. She received the victory over Southern (4/19a).
• Jamie Cain- Prairie View A&M- (P, 5-7, Jr., Pasadena, TX)
  Cain posted a 0.53 ERA and went 3-0 against Texas Southern. She recorded 14 strikeouts, allowed only three runs and held Texas Southern to a .186 average.
