Player of the Week
Tyeah Patterson – Alabama State (5-9, OF/DH, Jr., Pascagoula, MS)
Patterson batted .462 (6-of-13) in the Lady Hornets four game sweep of Jackson
State. Patterson hit three home runs, added nine RBIs, scored eight runs, and
finished with a 1.154 slugging percentage. She stole one base in her only attempt,
and was perfect from the field, executing each of her seven attempts from the field
(7-of-7).

Pitcher of the Week
Patricia Del Real- Alabama State (5-8, P/1B, Sr., Pylmar, CA)
Del Real pitched in four games for the week and posted two wins, including one
shutout, and a save with two complete games. Her ERA was .42 for the week, and
she allowed only nine hits (eight singles), walked only two players, and 15 strikeouts.

Other Notable Performances:

• Nikki Lilly- Prairie View A&M- (RF,5-5, Fr., Prairie View,TX)
  Lilly batted .833 for the week in a 2-game series. She recorded five hits, scored two runs, and also had a .833 on –base percentage &.833 slugging percentage.
• Jamye Roberts- Southern –(5-6, So., P/SS, Stone Mountain, GA)
  Roberts was 5-for-10 (.500) at the plate with one triple and 1 rbi for the week, and was 1-0 in pitching (5 innings), giving up only 3 hits , no earned runs, and 6 strikeouts.
