Aracely Acosta- (P, R/R, Jr., Houston, TX)- Texas Southern
Acosta posted two shutouts, had a ERA of 3.38, and compiled 30 strikeouts in 18 innings for the week with two losses against Jackson State (3/23),and a 4-0 sweep over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (March 25-26).She had 11 strikeouts against Jackson State (3/23), and 12 strikeouts against UAPB.
