Queydreka Shumpert- Mississippi Valley State (Sr., Meridian, MS)
Shumpert batted .455 (10-22) with 4 doubles, 1 homerun, and 6 RBI for the week, as the Devilettes were 5-1 for the week. The Devilettes are currently undefeated (16-0) in eastern division conference play.

Pitcher of the Week
Tasha Sloan- Alabama A&M (So., 5-5, Scottsdale, AZ)
Sloan posted a 3-1 record in four starts, pitching a complete game in each outing. She had a 1.12 ERA for the week, allowing just four earned runs in 25 innings. She recorded 41 strikeouts while walking only one. Allowed 13 hits, holding opposing hitters to a .143 average. She allowed just five total hits in two victories over conference rival Alcorn State (4/4).
