Southern will look to defend their SWAC Bowling Championship this weekend, February 28th & 29th at Don Carter’s All-Star Lanes in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The SWAC Bowling championship, a four team event, features the top two teams from the SWAC’s East and West Division. East Division top seed is Alabama A&M and #2 seed from the East is Alcorn State. From the West, Grambling State is the #1 seed and Southern is the #2 seeded team.

The tournament events begin on Friday, February 27th, with practice sessions from 3:00-5:00 PM. Bowling competition begins at 10:00 AM, Saturday Morning, February 28th with championship matches beginning at 10:00 AM on Sunday, February 29th.

In Saturday’s first round at 10:00 AM, Grambling State will face Alcorn State and Southern will face Alabama A&M. http://www.swac.org/championships/bowling.php
