Defending SWAC Champ Jackson State opens its 2008 season today in the 4th MEAC/SWAC Challenge against Hampton.   The Tigers, 8-4 last year, will look to gain their first win over the Pirates in three tries and give the SWAC its second straight win in the Challenge. Kickoff at the Citrus Bowl is set for 1 pm (CT) and will be televised live on ESPN2 and ESPN360.com
