As a part of an ongoing initiative and partnership with the City of Birmingham, the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) will host a Strength and Conditioning Clinic Wednesday, May 21 at 4:00 p.m.  The clinic is free and is open to all high school and middle school coaches and student-athletes.

The clinic will be held in the weight room at Carver High School located at 3900 24th Street North in Birmingham.  The instructor for this clinic will be Mr. Robert Butler, a certificated strength and conditioning coach who has worked with a number of NFL players and most recently Grambling State University.

“We hope that this clinic will continue to show our support for the City and its commitment to educating the youth and those who work with them,” said SWAC commissioner Duer Sharp.
