Randy Schneider

Player Profile

Position:
Assistant Coach (1st Year)

Alma Mater:
Florida International

Randy Schneider is a decorated basketball coach and will be a welcomed addition to head coach, Robin Harmony's bench.

His 131-71 record as head coach at the high school level supports that he's a winner. Schneider's 15 former players' who have played, or are currently playing at the college level, supports that he knows how to teach the game.

He started coaching boys as an assistant coach at Coral Park 1997-1999. From there he coached at Barbara Goleman 1999-2004. He left Barbara Goleman for Felix Varela and coached there 2004-2007. He left both Barbara Goleman and Felix Varela with the most wins by a coach and the first coach to take either school to the playoffs.

Schneider also has experience coaching travel teams. He was the head coach of the premier Jags which qualified for AAU nationals and US junior nationals which his team reached the elite eight in.

He should also be able to help the student athletes out in the classroom having graduated from Florida International University in 1998 with a B.S. in physical education. He graduated with a 3.8 GPA making him a member of the dean's list, cum laude, as a prestigious national golden key member.

He is married to Jennifer and father of four year old Taylor.
