BOCA RATON, FL- St. Thomas strategically utilized seven different pitchers to hold NCAA DII Lynn University to only three runs in a 17-3 Bobcat victory.

Coach Mantrana wanted to give most of his pitchers a light workout in preperation for a huge week against NCAA DI Harvard University on Thursday and a three-game conference series against arch-rival and #3 ranked Embry-Riddle University starting on Friday.

At the plate, STU pounded out 11 runs in the top of the fourth inning to blow open a 2-2 tie. Jorge Lago went 3-6 with five RBI. Designated hitter Juan Mora was 4-6 with three RBI. The Bobcats amassed five doubles in the game.

Kyle Preshong picked up the victory for St. Thomas.
