COCOA BEACH, FL- Starting pitcher Eddie Machin struck out nine in seven innings, and came an error away from pitching a complete game shutout. His breaking balls were untouchable for the first six innings. His fastball was reaching 90mph. Offensively, the Bobcats scored two runs each in the third, fifth, and seventh inning for their six runs. Alex Pascual went 2-4 in the leadoff position scoring a run. Chris Martinez continued to be an offensive catalyst going 2-3 with one RBI. Adrian Gonzalez was 2-2 in stealing bases. St. Thomas improved to 18-10. |
