Tesha Harry and Julie Zub Receive Player of the Week Honors

Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook's Tesha Harry was named America East Co-Player of the Week and teammate Julie Zub Setter of the Week for the week ending October 26, as the conference office announced Monday. The Seawolves are currently in fourth place in the conference with a 4-3 record, 13-11 overall.

Harry was tremendous for Stony Brook as they handed Northeastern its first conference loss on Friday evening, totalling a match-high 21 kills to go along with five digs and six blocks. She hit .400 for the match. The next afternoon Harry bettered her totals from the night before, posting a career-high 24 kills without making an error and hitting an amazing .649 against Albany. For the weekend, Harry racked up 45 kills (4.5 per game) with a .506 hitting percentage. She is currently tied for first in the America East with a .370 hitting percentage and ranks fourth with .90 blocks per game.

Zub keyed the Seawolves in their back-to-back battles versus the toughest competition in the America East. Against Northeastern, she tallied a career-high 64 assists and seven digs in a 3-2 win, while the next afternoon she totalled 51 assists, 13 digs and four kills in a tough 3-2 loss to Albany. Zub currently ranks fourth in the America East with 11.09 assists per game.

The Seawolves are back in action on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. versus Hartford.
