Women's Tennis Falls to Top Seeded Boston in America East Semifinals

The Stony Brook women's tennis team had its season draw to a close as the Seawolves fell to top-seeded Boston University in the semifinals of the America East Championship, 4-0.

Boston won 8-4 at No. 1 doubles and 8-0 at No. 3 doubles to rush out to an early 1-0 lead. The Terriers stayed on a roll as they won at No. 2 singles, No. 3 singles and No. 6 singles to clinch the match, 4-0. This is the second year in a row the Seawolves advanced to the America East semifinals and lost to Boston.
