Women's Tennis Tops Bucknell, 5-2

Lewisburg, Penn. - The Stony Brook women's tennis team won its second straight match as the Seawolves topped Bucknell, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon. With the win the Seawolves improve to 2-2 on the year. The women's team rushed to a quick 1-0 lead as the duo of Paola Rodolfi and Erica Federgreen won at No. 1 doubles, 8-4, and the team of Claudia Sanua and Brooke Flanigan won at No. 2 doubles, 8-1, to give Stony Brook the doubles point. In singles, Rodolfi won at No. 1, 6-3, 6-1, Federgreen won at No. 3, 6-2, 6-1, Victoria Vovsha won at No. 4, 6-2, 6-2, and Flanigan won at No. 5, 6-0, 5-7, 10-6 as the Seawolves rolled to the 5-2 win. The Seawolves return to action on March 3 when they take on Colgate. Stony Brook 5, Bucknell 2
