Stony Brook, N.Y. - Krisha Zagura scored twice to lead Stony Brook to a convincing 4-0 win over Drexel Friday afternoon at University Field. The win was the third straight for Stony Brook which improves to 4-10-2 overall, 3-5-1 in America East play while Drexel falls to 5-10-2, 2-5-2 in conference action.

Zagura scored two of the Seawolves three first-half goals. She knocked home a cross from Kristin Lynch in the 11th minute and followed that up with her second goal 3:32 later when she took a pass from Jessica Enes and fired a low shot past Drexel's Sara Paranteau for a 2-0 lead. Later in the half, Jen Fontanetta scored her first goal of the season on an assist from Stephanie Smyrl at 42:42 and Stony Brook had a 3-0 advantage at the break.

Kerri McCabe closed out the scoring in the 87th minute when she volleyed home a cross from Beth Arikian for Stony Brook's fourth goal. The Seawolves controlled play throughout, outshooting Drexel 24-5 on the afternoon.

Lori Nelson made three saves in goal for Stony Brook to earn her fourth win of the year. Peranteau made 10 saves for Drexel.

Stony Brook has now won three straight games and four of its last five with three regular season games remaining. The Seawolves are back in action this Sunday when they travel to America East foe Hofstra. Kick-off is 12:00 p.m.
