Newark, DE - They've waited 12 games to be on the other side of the scoreboard. On Sunday afternoon in Delaware, the women's soccer team was. Jessica Enes' first half goal held up as the Seawolves (1-9-2, 1-5-1 AE) defeated Delaware (6-6, 2-4 AE), 1-0 for their first win of the season.

Enes' shot from the top of the penalty box hit a Delaware defender and went over the goalie's head at the 46:47 mark to give the Seawolves the lead. From there, junior goalkeeper Lori Nelson recorded five saves for her fifth career shutout and the Seawolves went on to victory.

Stony Brook will host Yale in a non-conference match-up Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
