Final Stats

Stony Brook, N.Y. - New Hampshire used an even-paced attack to top Stony Brook 74-58 on Saturday afternoon at the Indoor Sports Complex. The Seawolves have now lost three straight to fall to 8-17 overall and 6-10 in America East play, while the Wildcats improved to 13-12 and 9-7.

UNH came out on fire in the first half, connecting on seven of its first eight shots, while Stony Brook was ice cold, missing eight of its first nine as the visitors led 18-2 at 15:01.

The Wildcats would stretch their lead to as many as 19 at 28-9 with 10:54 left in the half. SB settled down however, outscoring UNH 25-14 over the final 10 minutes of the half and trailed by just eight points at 42-34.

The Wildcats slowly built a 17 point lead and led 60-43 with under eight minutes to go in the second half and the Seawolves were unable to get closer than 12 points the rest of the way.

Mykeema Ford led all scorers with 18 points, while Jessica Smith added 16 points and seven rebounds for SB.

Danielle Clark posted 13 points and 11 rebounds while Ebony Woods and Lindsay Adams each chippd in with 11 points.

The Seawolves return to action on Wednesday when they host Maine on Senior Night beginning at 7:00 p.m.
