Men's Tennis Falls To St. John's, 4-3

The Stony Brook men's tennis team was edged, 4-3, by St. John's on Friday afternoon. With the loss the men fall to 6-6 on the season. The Seawolves came out of the gate fast, grabbing the doubles point as the duo of Mike Crooks and Tal Meir won at the No. 1 doubles spot, 8-4 and the team of Nihal Advani and Jean-Francois Robitaille outlasted their opponents at No. 2 doubles, 9-8. The Red Storm rallied to win four of the six singles matches in the victory. Meir rolled at No. 2 singles, 7-6, 6-2, and Advani won at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-4. The men will return to action on Sunday, April 2 when they host Boston University at 1:00 P.M.
