Track And Field Just Misses Victory At Millrose Games

New York, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's 4 x 800m relay team was defeated by just .08 seconds to finish second at the Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden on Friday. Dave deWolfe, Jonathan Brims, Dale Summerville and Chris Hunt finished the race in 7:58.50 for second place, while the winning team captured the win with a time of 7:58.42. Also competing at the Games was Mike Thompson, who placed ninth in the 3000m with a time of 8:50.44. |
