Stony Brook, N.Y. - Nomination Form

The Stony Brook University Athletics Department is now accepting applications for the Hall of Fame Class of 2007. The Class of 2007 will be inducted Saturday, October 20 at a formal ceremony on homecoming weekend. All nominations are due by June 30.

This year's induction ceremony will be a brunch on the morning of October 20, just hours before the 2007 homecoming matchup against the University of Maine Black Bears. The ceremony will take place in the Stuart Goldstein Student-Athlete Development Center overlooking LaValle Stadium.

There are currently 46 members in the Stony Brook Athletics Hall of Fame. The Class of 2006 included: Minnesota Twins reliever Joe Nathan '97 (Baseball), Robert Burden '90 (Football and Baseball), John DeMarie (Men's Swimming Coach, 1978-94) and Daniel Antonius '99 (Men's Tennis).
