Moraga, CA- Saint Mary's women's basketball sophomore guard Jontelle Smith (Pinole, CA) will represent Saint Mary's College at the 2007 National Leadership Conference. Smith was one of 356 selected to attend as announced by the NCAA National Leadership Conference Selection Committee.

Smith was one of 1308 nominated from 330 institutions from Division I, II and III national Student-Athlete Advisory Committees. The conference will be held May 27 through May 31 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The Pinole, CA native was selected to the All-WCC First-Team. Smith led the Gaels in scoring overall and in conference play. The sophomore tallied 11.9 points over the course of the season and paced SMC with 12.4 points during conference action. The 5-5 guard was second during WCC games in three point field goal percentage with a .431 mark. Smith was third in three point field goals made with 28.
