WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - Senior Barry O'Neill matched his career-low with a 69 in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Championship to move Saint Louis into eighth place heading into Sunday's final round. The Billikens rebounded from a difficult first round at the Orange County National Golf Club to shoot 290 on the par 72, 6,837-yard Panther Course on Saturday as four of the five players lowered their scores by at least three strokes.

O'Neill's 69 put him into sixth place in the individual standings, just five strokes behind tournament leader Jordan Utley of Richmond. Junior Ryan Blechle also took three strokes off his first-round score with a 71 in round two to move into 18th place.

Senior John Campbell and freshman Collin Piercy posted matching 75s on Saturday. With his 80 on Friday, Campbell holds 50th place, while Piercy took nine strokes off his round-one score to move into 55th position. Senior David Perritt was the lone Billiken to not shoot lower than his first-round score, following Friday's 76 with a 78 on Saturday to stand in 44th place.

The Billikens two-round total of 592 is two strokes behind Saint Joseph's in seventh place. Nationally-ranked Charlotte leads the tournament after posting a 279 on Saturday. The 49ers are six stroked ahead of Xavier and seven in front of Richmond.

The tournament concludes on Sun., May 7.
