Cross Country Runs At NCAA Regional Meet

Nov. 13, 2004

Peoria, Ill. - Emily Zimmerman and Joe Porter were the top finishers for the Saint Louis Billikens at the NCAA Division I Midwest Regional Meet in Peoria, Ill., on Saturday. Zimmerman covered the 6K course in a time of 24:22.17, while Joe Porter ran the 10K distance in 33:23.64.

The women's team finished in 26th place, while the men were 21st. Anissa Reynolds was next for the women in 25:03.22, while Jamie Branham was third at 25:24.60. Reilly DeSantis came home in 25:55.24, while Molly Oliver, Jenny Rancour and Abbie Sumrall were the other SLU runners.
 

 

On the men's side, Paul Lemon was next in 34:34.32, while Dan Herman was just behind in 34:37.50. Matt Stuber recorded a time of 35:24.61, while Matt Greulich and Tim Hamilton closed out the team's scoring.
