Hawks Fall to Towson, 4-2
Oct. 20, 2006 TOWSON, MD - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to Towson Friday, October 12. The Hawks earned their two points at the top of the lineup as junior Stephania Velazquez posted a 6-0, 6-3 win over Eva Otanke at No. 1 singles, while freshman Jennifer Kedzierski downed Evelyn Izaguine 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. The doubles point was cancelled as rain forced the point to be nullified. With the loss, the Hawks fall to 9-5 on the season, while Towson improves to 4-1.
