PHILADELPHIA - Resting most of its key runners in preparation for next weeks Pre-National meet in Terre Haute, Ind., the Saint Joseph's men's cross country team placed tenth at the La Salle Invitational held at Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park.

Junior Rich Anderson was the Hawks top finisher placing 29th overall in a time of 27:22.0 Freshman Rich Ryan ran second and finishing 40th (27:43).

Round out the Hawk scorers were Shawn Duffy (28:25) who placed 53rd, Joe Correnti (29:01) finished 61st and Jeremy Fallis (30:35) was 76th. Brian O'Neill (31:37) filled out the lineup and finished 79th.
