Centerville, Mass. – St. John’s University women’s soccer player
Tracey Rollings (Paignton, England) was named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, it was announced today. Rollings becomes only the second player in St. John’s women’s soccer history to earn the weekly goalkeeping award.
Rollings, who was named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday, receives the honor after posting back-to-back shut outs in BIG EAST action this week. The sophomore net minder recorded five saves against Providence on Friday, October 10 en route to the Red Storm’s 2-0 win. On Sunday, she stopped seven shots in St. John’s 1-0 win over #20 Boston College, holding the Eagles scoreless for only the second time this season.

The Red Storm are back in action on Friday, October 17 when they host non-conference foe Monmouth. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
